    1Just speak通过连续问答游戏,掌握以下语句:There are seven days in a week. They are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. 2Just read and write在句型操练中认读、书写单词:FridaySaturday。并提醒学生注意专有名词的书写特征。3Let's sing学唱歌曲Days of the Week,在欢快的音乐节奏中,加深对本课内容的理解掌握。

   学生在第三单元已经学过句型How many? There areWhat are they? They are.... 在本课中,主要让学生连续问答游戏,掌握以上语句。另外,让学生在句型操练中认读一周七天的单词书写FridaySaturday两个四会单词。

Four skills: FridaySaturday

Three skills: There are seven days in a week.

They are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

七、Teaching important points and difficult points

Important points 1.Ss can read and write these words: FridaySaturday

 

2. Ss can understand and use the sentence pattern: There are seven days in a week. They are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Difficult points: Ss can use the new sentence pattern in real life.

    Communicational  Direct Teaching Method  Listening and speaking  TPR  Situational Teaching Method.

Teaching aids: picture cards taperecorder and some stickers.

九、Learning guidance:

运用直观的手段呈现新单词, 主要是利用图片、课件等方式,极大地激发了孩子们的学习热情,使他们全身心地跟老师说单词,做动作,能很快掌握所学单词。

十、Teaching thought

在教学过程中,我以七个小矮人为白雪公主开派对为主线,从派对的计划中先复习前面的单词,然后设计了五个环节,主要是让学生在活动中学习本课的内容。其中,第一个环节是学唱歌曲Days of the Week主要是让学生们在欢快的音乐中加深单词的记忆。第环节是听说游戏,主要加深学生对单词的记忆。然后引出主要句型。第三个环节是唱歌谣。学生通过跟着有节奏的音乐说chant,加深了对主要句型和单词的记忆。第四个环节是听课文录音,回答问题,然后跟读课文, 小组操练会话,然后表演课文。主要让学生巩固对课文的理解。第五个环节是Bingo游戏,通过游戏让学生巩固所学单词。

Step1.Warm–up

1. Greetings:

T: Good morning, everyone! Im Long Yali. You can call me Miss Long.

Ss: Good morning, Miss Long!

T: How are you?

Ss: I’m fine, thank you. And you?

T: I’m fine, too.

T: How many students are there in your class?

Ss: Forty students.

2. T: Lets sing a song: Number song. (Ss sing together.)

Step2. Presentation

1. T shows a picture of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

  T: Whos she?

  Ss: .

  T: Yes. Her name is Snow White. (T points to the dwarfs.) And who are they?

  Ss: .

  T: Yes. They are dwarfs. How many dwarfs are there? Lets count. One, two, ... seven. There are seven dwarfs. (Ss repeat it.)

(这一环节出示白雪公主和七个小矮人的图片,复习There be句型

2. T: Today is Tuesday. Next Tuesday, the dwarfs are going to hold a party. Its for Snow White. But Snow White doesnt know it. They want to give her a big surprise. For the party, they have to do something. Look! This is a plan for the party.

(这一环节说出七个小矮人要为白雪公主开派对,白雪公主并不知道,小矮人们要给她一个惊喜,但在开派对前他们得做一些事情,让学生们观察要做什么事情,以此调动学生的积极性。 )

3. T shows the table to review wordsSundayMondayTuesdayWednesdayThursdayand teach new words: FridaySaturday. (T writes the words FridaySaturday on the Bb. Ss copy it on exercise book.)

   Let Ss observe these words and say out the same point.

Then T asks: Where is Monday/?  (T gives out the word cards to each group before class.)

Ss answer: Here. (T names the group.)

(在这一环节中,老师先问学生:小矮人在星期二要做什么?学生们在回答中复习单词Tuesday,接着问学生Where is Tuesday?学生找到老师课前发到课桌上的单词Tuesday并说“Here”,用这个方法复习一周七天前面的单词,然后一边学习FridaySaturday一边给每个小组分组,并命名为一周七天的单词,如Group Tuesday让学生说出一周七天的七个单词的共同点:每个词的后面都有单词day、开头的第一个字母都要大写

4. T: Its Tuesday today. Its time for party. Now let's celebrate! On the party, we have some programs to do. The winner will get a gift. 

Part 1. Lets sing a song to celebrate: Days of the week. Boys and girls, follow me, OK?

Ss: OK.

(这一环节是派对开始,表明在派对中要进行一些节目,根据前面的分组,获胜组将得到礼物。以此激发学生的兴趣。第一个节目是学唱歌曲Days of the Week主要是让学生们在欢快的音乐中加深一周七天的单词的记忆。)

5. Part 2. Game: Listen and say.

  T: Now seven days here. Lets play a game. OK?

  Ss: OK!

T: I say English, you say the number.

T: I say the number, you say English.

Let Ss count the days together: one day, two days, three days, four days, five days, six days, seven days. Seven days makes a weekT teaches new word week. Ss read after T. Then T summarizes: There are seven days in a weekAnd Ss repeat it.

T: How many days are there in a week?

  Ss: Seven days.

  T: Yes. There are seven days in a week.

(这一环节是听说游戏,主要加深学生对单词的记忆。然后引出主要句型。)

6. Part 3. T: Now, lets chant together. Firstly, just listen. Secondly, follow T. Thirdly, lets chant it group by group.

(这一环节是唱歌谣。学生通过跟着有节奏的音乐说chant,加深对主要句型的记忆。)

7. Part 4. Listen and read.

(1)T: Now lets listen to the recording and answer my questions.

   What are they doing?

   How many days are there in a week?

   What are they?

   Ss answer questions. And T checks the answers.

Then Ss practice the sentence pattern: How many days are three in a week?

There are seven days in a weekWhat are they? They are SundayMondayTuesdayWednesdayThursdayFriday and Saturday. (Group work.)

(2) Ss read after the recording.

(3) Practice the dialogue in group.

(4) Role play.

(这一环节是听课文录音,回答问题,跟读课文, 小组操练会话,然后表演课文。主要让学生巩固对课文的理解。)

Step3. Practice

Part 5. Bingo 游戏: 在方格里任意写出七天的单词缩写(SUN,MON,TUE,WED,THUR,FRI,SAT)及单词dayweek。然后,教师随意说出三个,学生在自己的方格里的单词下划横线,只要能够横、竖、斜成一线,就可以大喊bingo,就赢了。

(这一环节是Bingo游戏,通过游戏让学生巩固所学单词。)

Step4. Summary
